Donating Toys
Got toys that your kids have outgrown? Donating them to the Pied Piper Toy Library is a fantastic way to give them a second life, bring joy to another local family, and keep plastic out of landfill!
We are always thrilled to refresh our shelves with high-quality, pre-loved toys. Here is a quick guide to what we can and can’t accept:
👍 Yes Please! (What We Love to Receive)
We accept toys in clean, excellent condition that are suitable for children from 6 months up to school age. We especially love:
🧩 Puzzles & Board Games
With all their pieces beautifully intact.
🪵 Quality Wooden Toys
Classic, sturdy items that stand the test of time.
🚜 Vehicles & Playsets
Cars, trucks, trains and interactive playsets.
🏰 Building Blocks
Popular sets like Duplo, LEGO and Mega Bloks.
🦸 Dress-Up Costumes
Clean, tear-free costumes for imaginative play.
🛑 No Thank You (What We Can’t Accept)
Due to safety regulations, hygiene rules, and limited shelf space, we unfortunately cannot accept:
🧩 Toys with Missing Pieces
If a toy is missing a vital part, it isn't fun for kids to play with!
🧸 Soft Toys
Cuddly soft toys, teddies, pillows or fabric dolls (due to strict hygiene and cleaning rules).
⚠️ Safety & Baby Gear
Helmets, car seats, high chairs, bouncers, bath toys or toys with unsecured battery compartments.
💥 Damaged Items
Toys that are broken, brittle, rusty, heavily scratched, or sun-faded.
🤩 How to Drop Off Your Donations
Step 1.
Let Us Know
Please take a few quick photos of your donations and email them to our committee. We will review the pictures to assess whether we can add them to our collection, saving you an unnecessary trip if they aren't a perfect match!
Step 2.
The Quick Check
Once the committee gives you the green light, please count the pieces to make sure the toy is completely whole, and give it a quick wipe down so it's fresh and ready to play.
Step 3.
See a Volunteer
Bring your approved items inside during our regular opening hours. A friendly volunteer will help get them officially checked in.
⚠️ Please don’t leave donations unattended on the front porch when we are closed.
